Code of Conduct

At CFPC, we believe that fitness thrives in an environment of respect, safety, and care for one another. This Code of Conduct outlines the expectations that help us maintain a positive space for all athletes, coaches, and visitors.

1. Respect for All

  • Treat every member, coach, and guest with courtesy and professionalism.
  • Celebrate differences—everyone’s journey, background, and abilities are welcome here.
  • Encourage others, never belittle them. No bullying, harassment, discrimination, or exclusion of any kind will be tolerated.

2. Safety First

  • Prioritize proper technique over intensity; ask a coach when unsure.
  • Follow all coaching instructions.  Listen when the coach is providing instructions.
  • Use equipment responsibly and return items to their proper place.
  • Report injuries, hazards, or unsafe behavior immediately.
  • No unauthorized coaching or programming.

3. Timeliness & Preparedness

  • Arrive on time and ready to train to minimize disruptions.
  • Late arrivals must join in a way that respects the coach’s plan and the class flow.
  • Reserve and sign in for classes to help us keep sessions organized and safe.
  • Keep transitions efficient—respect the next class’s time by clearing equipment promptly.

4. Community Care

  • Encourage, cheer, and uplift each other.  Wait for each athlete to be complete the WOD before putting away your equipment or moving onto anything else.
  • Introduce yourself to new members and help foster a welcoming environment.
  • Maintain gym cleanliness: wipe equipment, pick up chalk, and keep personal items tidy.
  • Respect shared spaces—be mindful of noise, equipment use, and personal boundaries.

5. Zero-Tolerance for Harmful Behavior

The following will result in removal from the premises or termination of membership:

  • Harassment, discrimination, or intimidation
  • Unsafe or reckless behavior
  • Verbal or physical aggression
  • Intentional misuse of equipment
  • Violation of privacy, including recording others without consent
